Jason Hunt

I came to the Lord at an early age, but I didn’t understand what it meant to be a Christian until I was a senior in high school. Then the Lord brought me to The Master’s University where He grew me exponentially, and gave my love for creating music a new purpose: to lead God’s people in worship. It was there that I met my wife Christin, and we were married shortly after graduation in 2007. We now have three small children: Kaden, Alethea, and Auna.

I have a bachelor of music degree from The Master’s University, and have lead worship in various churches since 2008. I have also written a handful of worship songs which we sing on a regular basis in our corporate worship services, and continue to write more.

Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”  Before we join together in corporate worship we should have our hearts and minds saturated with the Word of God, it should be richly dwelling within each of us. Then, after our hearts have been filled to overflowing with the knowledge of who He is and what He has done, our emotions are fully informed and spilling over with thankfulness in worship, both corporate and personal, as a response to the revealed truth of God.

It is my deepest desire to see as many worshippers as possible come before the throne of Almighty God unhindered and completely focused on Him to give Him the praise and glory He deserves.
