I'm New

Welcome

We love having visitors spend time with us at Grace Bible Church of Cedar Ridge, and we want to help you know what to expect when you come.
Grace Bible Church is a semi-rural congregation with a relaxed, familial atmosphere. Our people are gentle, transparent, and unpretentious, while also being deeply committed to the truth of God's Word. In many ways, "what you see is what you get." We are welcoming, but unwavering; informal in atmosphere, but serious about Scripture.
That shapes the feel of our services. Our worship includes a mixture of traditional hymns and modern songs, with an emphasis on congregational singing. Our preaching is expositional, meaning our pastors teach verse by verse through books of the Bible, seeking to explain the meaning of Scripture and apply it faithfully to our lives.

When we Meet

Children's Sunday School/Adult Equipping Hour

9:00 am to 10:00 am
Sunday Morning Worship
10:30 am to 12:00 pm
At 9:00 AM, we offer classes for children, teenagers, and adults.
Our children are taught through the Answers in Genesis curriculum, which helps them learn the Bible and understand God's truth from the beginning. Our teenagers are learning the foundations of the Christian faith, helping them grow in their understanding of Scripture, doctrine, and faithful Christian living.
Adults gather for our Adult Equipping Hour, where we study God's Word and seek to grow in biblical understanding and practical faithfulness.

10:00 AM - Fellowship Time
After the Children's Sunday School and Adult Equipping Hour, we have coffee and treats available in the back of the auditorium. Please feel free to spend time getting to know our church family, and to let us get to know you.

10:30 AM - Morning Worship Service
Our morning service includes Scripture reading, prayer, congregational singing, and expositional preaching from the Bible. We usually close the service with a final hymn.
On the first Sunday of each month, we also take time during the service to celebrate the Lord's Supper.

Children and Childcare

During the 9:00 AM hour, children participate in Children's Sunday School using the Answers in Genesis curriculum. Teenagers meet separately to study the foundations of the Christian faith.
Nursery care is provided during the 10:30 AM morning worship service for children ages 0-4. Please ask one of our volunteers where the nursery rooms are located.
Children ages 5 and older are encouraged to remain with their parents throughout the worship service so they can be blessed by the teaching of God's Word along with the rest of the congregation

Worship- Singing,  Reading, Giving, Teaching, and Fellowshiping

We sing a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs chosen to direct our hearts to worship God. Our focus is not on performance but on the congregation singing truth together.
We have times to read the Holy Scriptures together or to listen as one person reads. We also believe our financial giving is part of our worship, so there is no pressure to participate when you’re new. You’ll also hear many prayers during our time together.
Our pastors preach expositional sermons, walking verse by verse through books of the Holy Bible. Our desire is that every part of our worship be shaped by Scripture, centered on Christ, and helpful for God's people.
We stick around for a while after the service to fellowship together as we continue worshiping even after the last amen. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting the people who make up this church.
